The project’s main aim was to change the use of the facility at the Ruda Slaska Plaza Commercial Center. The project’s first stage (5,500 m², 300 m² of a new arcade) included demolition of the existing premises, construction of the Carrefour supermarket, and expansion of the arcade and inclusion of new boutiques. In the second stage, the investor requested wanted to renovate a portion of the arcade (1,500 m²) so that it would interconnect with the expanded passage from stage one (the supermarket entrance).

An important point was to ensure sufficient illumination in the existing dark arcade within a very low budget that did not allow for pavement replacement. This reduced the overall effect of the project.
